I have been using high speed internet for about three months now, and I have to say that I have never been more happy with my web browsing experience. I tried many internet service providers before, but mostly I was using AOL dial up You see, there was no high speed internet in my area. I live in what you might very well call the boonies. This is a one horse town if there ever was one – just a strip of stores for downtown on the main drag, and then you are through. But the interstate coming through changed everything. Soon there were new restaurants opening, a booming population and better economy, and of course, AOL broadband internet.

Today, at my age, geekness is generally rewarded instead of punished, but I still find myself escaping into science fiction books often. Maybe its just nostalgia, or maybe they’re just fun books to read, but its certainly my favorite genre. While I’m also a fan of other genres, other books often just seem unimaginative and somehow lacking in the kind of depth that good science fiction books have.

What are you interested in? I can pretty much guarantee you that there are online communities for it. Use Google.com to locate any online communities you please. It’s fun to meet tons of new people just like yourself. You’ll even find that some live in your area. Isn’t it time you got in on the present and future of communication? It’s called cyberspace.

What are you into? Are you a football fanatic, or a basketball buff? So many men are into sports these days. If it’s not hockey or baseball, then it’s probably golf. Personally I don’t care for sports at all. I never have. Ever since I was a small boy, I always liked martial arts. I simply couldn’t see how sports were beneficial if you weren’t making money off of them. I definitely didn’t find it entertaining to sit there and watch other people play them. However, with martial arts it was a completely different story. Not only do fighting arts get you conditioned and in shape, but they also teach you something valuable, and that’s how to defend yourself. So while all the other kids were on the look out for sporting goods shops, I was constantly searching high and low for martial arts stores.
