Telescopes and San Giacomo
The Church of San Giovanni Battista is a fine building in the Baroque style with frescoes, marble and works of sculpture. The Basilica of San Giacomo dates from 1075-1125 and has beautiful mosaics and a fine altar.
The town has an unusual museum, which houses navigational instruments. It traces the history of navigation through displays of solar clocks, compasses and telescopes etc. Bellagio Italy offers something for everyone but the main attraction is the splendor of the countryside. It’s appreciated even more from the vantage point of the lake and the clear water on a sunny day.
